Assistant Director of Sales

As an Assistant Sales Manager at our property, you will play a key role in leading the segmented sales effort and implementing the segment sales strategy to achieve revenue goals, enhance guest and employee satisfaction, and build long-term customer relationships. Your primary focus will be on conducting day-to-day sales activities to drive the achievement of property sales objectives and personal booking goals. To qualify for this role, you should hold a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in a relevant major with 1 year of experience in sales and marketing will be considered. Your core work activities will involve collaborating with the sales leader to understand and implement the sales strategy, developing and executing sales strategies, maximizing revenue potential, managing sales activities such as space release and sales calls, and analyzing sales and financial data to achieve the property's financial goals. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service by displaying leadership in guest hospitality, obtaining feedback on product quality and service levels, and empowering employees to provide excellent customer service. Building successful relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and collaborating with off-property sales channels will also be part of your responsibilities.
