Role Overview

We are seeking an aspiring Director / Script Intern who is passionate about filmmaking, research, and storytelling in the science and technology domain. This role will involve assisting the Director directly, contributing to script development, research, and creative coordination across the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in day-to-day project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
• Support in developing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
• Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics.
• Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
• Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
• Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Film school student / recent graduate OR aspiring filmmaker with a keen interest in scientific films
• Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
• Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
