As a Manager in Complex Securities at EY-Valuations team, you will assist clients in understanding the value of their business assets, securities, intellectual property, capital equipment, and other intangibles. Your role will involve managing valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax, and management planning purposes. You will develop models to value various financial instruments and assess fair value for complex structures such as Private Company Equity Securities, Options, Warrants, Preferred & Common Stock, and more under relevant accounting standards. You will be responsible for demonstrating strong derivative pricing and financial modeling skills, creating both valuation and financial models based on client requirements. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in report generation, detailed financial modeling, business development opportunities identification, and maintaining positive relationships with global EY offices. Managing a team of Valuation professionals, supervising, developing, and mentoring them will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CA), or Business with 10-12 years of related work experience. A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in utilizing valuation techniques and methodologies is required. Experience in financial modeling, proficiency in various software tools, and exposure to databases are essential. A willingness to travel when necessary is also expected. The ideal candidate will possess project management skills, strong communication, and presentation abilities. You should have commercial acumen, technical experience, and enthusiasm to learn in a fast-moving environment.
