Assistant Digital Category Leader

As a Digital Category Leader at Decathlon Sports India, your role is pivotal in driving the Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and enhancing customer experience within the assigned product categories. You will be instrumental in leveraging market trends and competitive insights to boost revenue growth and elevate customer satisfaction. Collaboration with various teams such as marketing, sales, supply chain, and category sports teams is essential to achieve business objectives and maximize sales, profitability, and customer experience. Your responsibilities will include conducting competitor analysis to identify strategic opportunities for market differentiation, monitoring website traffic and sales data to enhance performance, and managing Profit and Loss (PNL) along with business piloting. Collaborating with multiple vertical teams and stakeholders is crucial to align objectives and drive the category's online business case effectively. Working closely with the Sales Side, Marketing Team, Country Sport Teams, and Customer Service Team will be essential to optimize offers, develop commercial policies, and address customer needs and sentiments. To excel in this role, a Master's degree is preferred along with 4-6 years of relevant experience in category management, particularly in the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) or e-commerce sector. You should possess strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and market research, coupled with excellent communication abilities. The office location for this position is Decathlon Anubhava in Bangalore, and the work policy includes one day of Work From Home (WFH) per week based on requirements.
