Job Title: Assistant Accounts Manager - To CFO

Job Summary:

Assistant Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the CFO in preparation of financial reports, budgeting, cost analysis, and strategic planning.
• Supervise accounting operations including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and filings.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers for payment schedules, documentation, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Track import-related costs, prepare landed cost sheets, and monitor inventory valuation.
• Handle all documentation and follow-ups related to LC (Letter of Credit), advance payments, and bank guarantees.
• Liaise with banks for

  annual renewal of working capital limits

  , credit facilities, and preparation of CMA data.
• Support the

  treasury department

  with cash flow planning, fund allocation, and short-term investments.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, sales/profitability summaries, and financial dashboards Collaborate with external auditors and finance consultants for statutory and internal audits.
• Act as the primary link between the CFO and the accounts team for execution, updates, and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce; M.Com/MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts and finance in a trading or chemical distribution company.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/SAP and strong command of Excel for financial analysis.
• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.
• Experience in coordinating with

  international suppliers and managing forex transactions.

• Strong grasp on

  treasury functions

  - cash flow planning, fund utilization, and liquidity tracking.
• Knowledge of banking operations including

  LCs, BGs,

  and

  CMA data preparation for bank limits.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.

Preferred:

• Prior experience working closely with CFOs or senior finance leadership Understanding of chemical pricing, margin structures, and credit control practices.
• Experience in import-export documentation and regulatory compliance.
