Job Summary:
HikeOn Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for a talented Financial Analyst with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. As the Assistant Accounting Manager, you will support financial decision-making and provide insights to drive growth and profitability. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting, budgeting, and offering recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Planning:
- Conduct financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
Bookkeeping and Tax Filings:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Reconcile and clean up accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare and submit Dubai VAT and US sales tax returns on time, ensuring the automation of the process.
- Implement inventory capitalization and maintain the asset register.
- Conduct ledger scrutiny and prepare management information system (MIS) reports.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Adhere to tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
Month-End Close and Reconciliations:
- Support the team in completing month-end close activities using FloQast or similar tools.
- Assist in reconciling balance sheet (BS) and profit and loss (PL) captions.
Technology and Process Improvement:
- Implement and optimize accounting software and tools.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to the executive team.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits, tax filings, and compliance matters.
Risk Management and Internal Controls:
- Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Establish and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial
- regulations.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience and a strong academic background.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance.
- Expertise in financial reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial management software).
- Proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in the technology industry is an added advantage.
