Asset Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets within the organization. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the availability, traceability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance of all IT hardware assets, particularly focusing on employee laptops and associated equipment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a real-time, accurate inventory of all employee laptops and IT equipment across various locations. You will lead cross-functional coordination with procurement, HR, admin, and IT support teams to efficiently plan, allocate, repair, and recover assets. As the IT Asset Manager, you will define and enforce IT asset policies based on employee roles, asset categories, and organizational requirements. It will be essential to ensure that all assets are properly tagged, documented, and tracked throughout their lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing hardware refresh cycles and upgrade plans based on warranty, performance, and business needs. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or related roles. Hands-on experience with Excel for data analysis is required, while familiarity with ITAM tools is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT hardware, software licensing, and common enterprise applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills are also essential for success in this role.
