Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assessment Lead in the Education department, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and quality assurance of assessments, ensuring alignment with curriculum frameworks, and supporting broader editorial needs for print and digital resources. Your role will involve working closely with internal teams, subject matter experts, and freelancers to deliver assessments that meet learner needs and market expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the full lifecycle of assessment development including design, content creation, validation, quality assurance, and delivery. - Align assessments with relevant frameworks such as CEFR, CBSE, ICSE, and organisational pedagogical standards. - Conduct market and competitor research on assessment trends, tools, and approaches. - Establish and maintain assessment quality benchmarks and review processes. - Take on editorial responsibilities for ELT products when required, including manuscript evaluation, content development, and copy-editing. - Stay updated on education policy changes, curriculum reforms, and board guidelines impacting assessment. - Plan, track, and deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets. - Maintain clear project documentation and ensure compliance with internal vendor/freelancer processes. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field from a recognized institution. - 3-5 years of experience in educational publishing or assessment roles, preferably in ELT. - Proven experience in full assessment lifecycle management. - Familiarity with curriculum standards such as CBSE, ICSE, CEFR, and assessment frameworks. - Exposure to both print and digital product workflows. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with publishing software is desirable.
