Assessment Expert - Level 2 (ELT - Proofreaders)

Role:  Assessment Expert - Level 2 (ELT - Proofreaders) (Permanent/Full-Time)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Assessment Work

• Vetting of test content, including the working of tasks and checking of keys, ensuring they meet

required standards of quality and accuracy, and are achieved efficiently and cost effectively to

support ongoing regulatory compliance. This includes but is not limited to checking tasks are

EDIB sensitive and fact-checking to ensure content has not become out-of-date, untrue or

unusable.

• Proofreading of test content, including the checking of sound files and answer keys. Review

content for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy as well as consistency in style, tone and

formatting.

• Parallel proofing of authored content in multiple platforms during system migration.

• Assisting in the creation and management of a searchable artwork/photograph asset bank to

enable Assessment Managers to source artwork/photographs more efficiently and cost

effectively.

• Assisting in item production (commissioned and in-house) to provide accurate data for AI-

generated content.

• Retrieving and updating copyright on all of our tasks so as to make them transferrable for use in

Practice Tests and coursebooks.

• Contributing to the quality assurance activity on marking and results determination. For

example, key checks and the production of examiner support materials, all ensuring accuracy

and that this is achieved efficiently and cost effectively.

• Escalating any identified risks and issues through the appropriate route.

Locations: Sector 62, Noida, UP

Experience: 2Y to 7Y 

(2-way transportation will be provided)

Workdays: Monday to Friday/Fixed week offs on Saturday & Sunday. (5 Day Working)

Required:

Qualifications:

• BA Hons or M.Phil or MA or P.hD / In (English / English Language and Literature / Applied Linguistics / TESOL / Communicative Studies)

Experience:

• Should have Minimum 2+ years of experience in proofreading English content.
