Job Description

Job Title: Assembly / Production Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing / Production

Location: Waluj MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra Experience: 02 - 05 Years

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved in line with quality and safety standards. The candidate should have strong shop-floor exposure, manpower management skills, and the ability to drive productivity improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
Ensure achievement of production targets within defined timelines.
Monitor machine utilization and take corrective actions to reduce downtime.
Manage workforce planning, shift allocation, and attendance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S practices.
Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Train, guide, and motivate workers for better performance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Understanding of quality systems and procedures
Awareness of safety regulations and audits
Good communication and coordination abilities
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, production reporting)
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen (preferred)

Industry Preference:

Manufacturing / Engineering / Automobile / Electrical Components
