Role & responsibilities Job description You will join our Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior (India) Pvt. Ltd, Pune. Located in Chakan, its a French automotive supplier specialized in the manufacturing and commercialization of plastics. Plastic Omnium Auto Exteriors division designs and develops lightweight and safe plastic fenders, bumpers and the tailgates. It is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of the plastic (passenger car) tailgates globally. Your main tasks will be in : Achieving IPIs with specific focus on assembly area (CNQ, Assembly Scrap, productivity, internal PPM standards & Network). Ensuring parts are produced according to customer specifications and requirements. Taking part in the implementation of the plant progress plan encouraging staff involvement, through the implementation of specific follow-up activities. Leading daily production meetings, adjusting the resources according to the changes, implementing and making sure the efficiency of corrective actions. Is required to maintain a high level of maintenance and cleanliness in the assembly area. Providing appropriate support on new programs development in relation with Program development team and MPM team. Interaction with customer SCM team and QRES for smooth supplies of parts to customer and ensuring no quality issues or part shortages. Leading assembly maintenance team. Maintain 5’s on shop floor. Able to handle audit like IATF, ISO etc. and customer specific. Well known in data management and uses of Microsoft Ex., PPT, etc. What are we looking for?
