JOB DESCRIPTION Role Title: Engineer Department: Assembly
JOB PURPOSE: (Role Summary) Supervision required for smooth production and other support functions for maintaining a standard quality product.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education : B.E. Mechanical / Diploma Experience : 2 to 4 years Specific Industry Experience: Engineering/ Heavy Industrial Machinery Knowledge of QMS / EMS / OHSAS Process knowledge of Fabrication, Assembly, Machining, Engineering Drawing Knowledge of SAP B1 KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Supervising the manufacturing processes & ensuring quality of output. Day-to-day problem solving and providing recommendations for process improvement. Inter - Department co-ordination for delivery of drawings, materials, etc. Maintaining 5S, safety protocols to be followed on shop floor. Planning of daily and weekly plans for production. Ensuring proper utilization of available material.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Resolving issues related to production and other departments like PPC, QA, Design ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensures safe handling and disposal of hazardous material
