Job Opportunity: Assam Rabies Project Manager Location: Guwahati, Assam Organization: JBF-MR [JBF (INDIA) TRUST – JBF (Just Be Friendly) – Mission Rabies] Role: Project Coordination & Management Job description: JBF (Just Be Friendly), a renowned social-sector organization in Northeast India, in collaboration with Mission Rabies—a global initiative by the UK-based charity Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) dedicated to eradicating dog-bite transmitted rabies—is seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to join our team in Guwahati, Assam, as the Assam Rabies Project Manager . (Only Serious Applicants please) Essential qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate (Preferably Veterinary/Management &/or Social Welfare Background) Experience: 2 to 3 Years. Salary: (30K per month during probation period), with additional incentives based on performance and industry standards. This is SLIGHTLY negotiable according to experience & nature of work done before. Job Responsibilities: · Ensure overall project implementation under the supervision of the senior management. · Designing background of the initiative/projects. · Coordinate and Liaison with stakeholders (internal and external) for capacity building, information and data. · Monitor and evaluate progress of the project. · Draft monthly, quarterly and Annual Reports and submitting to the in charge. · Preparing, submitting and regular follow-ups of Project Proposals, EOI, Budget Report, Newsletter Updates, etc. · Planning and managing social media campaigns. · Site/field visits (as per requirements) for project implementation, monitoring, etc. · Timely reporting to the in charge. Other Details: · Zeal to work in the Development Sector and Animal Welfare Sector. · Computer literacy must. · Good oral and written communication skills in Assamese, Hindi and English. · Preferably having own vehicle. · Willingness to travel for project related works (as per requirements).
