Today, Austin Plywood operates with a total installed capacity of 4.50 million sheets per annum. To offer best-in-class sales service, we have a well-equipped corporate office in Kolkata. Our corporate office serves as the hub, complemented by marketing offices strategically located in 12 major cities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas for plywood, block boards, and flush doors.
  • Business Development:

    Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and customer referrals.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients, including dealers, distributors, contractors, architects, and interior designers.
  • Product Knowledge:

    Develop in-depth knowledge of Austin Plywood's product range, specifications, and applications to effectively present solutions to customers.
  • Market Analysis:

    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify selling possibilities and suggest product improvements or new offerings.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations:

    Conduct compelling sales presentations and effectively negotiate terms of sale to close deals.
  • Order Management:

    Ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and efficient resolution of any customer queries or complaints.
  • Reporting:

    Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and KPIs for review by the sales management.
  • Collaboration:

    Coordinate closely with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Mentorship (Optional, depending on team structure):

    Provide guidance and support to junior sales executives or team members as needed.

Skills:

    • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to build rapport and strong customer relationships.
    • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving targets.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
