Asist Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

The Assistant Project Manager Fit-Out Coordination & Mall Projects will support the planning, coordination, and execution of interior fit-out, renovation, and mall infrastructure projects. The role requires close coordination with retailers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with mall guidelines, quality standards, and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Assist in planning and execution of interior fit-out, renovation, and mall infrastructure projects across the mall premises.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support preparation and tracking of project schedules, timelines, and budgets to meet defined milestones and financial objectives.
• Assist in resolving project-related issues, risks, and site challenges in a timely manner.

Retail Fit-Out Coordination

• Act as a coordination point between retailers and the mall team for all fit-out-related activities.
• Support retailers from board-out installation (as per mall guidelines) to fit-out kick-off meetings.
• Coordinate drawing submissions, reviews, approvals, and revisions with relevant stakeholders.
• Share regular fit-out progress updates with retailers and internal teams.
• Conduct final fit-out inspections along with mall stakeholders and coordinate final clearances and snag closure.

• Brief retailers on mall fit out guidelines, dos and donts, and compliance requirements.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship quality and adherence to approved drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory norms, and mall standards.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the execution phase and ensure timely rectification of defects.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, drawings, and approval records.
• Assist in vendor bill verification and certification based on work progress and approvals.
• Support preparation of completion reports and handover documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum

  3 years of experience

  in project management, retail fit-out, hospitality interiors, or mall infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience working in malls or similar large-format commercial infrastructure is preferred.
