Carrying out HV/ EHV substation design and drawings for both AIS and GIS substations, including preparation of equipment specifications, layout drawings, and calculations (such as short circuit force, earthing, direct lightning stroke protection, conductor sizing, CT / CVT sizing , battery sizing, etc.). Also responsible for sizing equipment designs and systems, and BOQ preparation. b . Knowledge of standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI). Experience in designing substations from 66kV to 765kV EHV substations, switchyard layouts, and switchyard equipment design is essential. c. Proficiency in AutoCAD software is required. d . Knowledge of software such as ETAP, CDEGS, etc., is preferable. e. Must be able to work independently on projects. f. The candidate should possess good communication skills and be capable of discussing issues with customers and vendors. Execution of Contracts - 1. Shall be able to prepare/guide the design team in preparing the SLD, general arrangement drawings, electrical layout, sections, EKD, DSLP, Earthing Layout, cable trench layout, switch yard illumination, cable schedule, bill of materials (BOMs), etc. Should be well-versed in various busbar schemes. 2 -Should be able to review the equipment vendors drawings/documents. Check the drawings prepared by the draughtsman. 8. Reply the comments received from the client. 9. Technical support to site at the time of project execution and commissioning. 10. Prepare as built drawing after commissioning of the substation. 11. Collection of the site data by site visit. Inspection: 1.
