Articled Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Article Assistant to join our team and gain exposure to the world of accounting, auditing, taxation, and other financial services. The role offers an excellent opportunity for CA students to work under the mentorship of qualified professionals, receive practical training, and contribute to the growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in auditing assignments, including fieldwork, audit testing, and preparation of working papers.

Participate in tax preparation and compliance, including GST, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.

Assist in financial statement preparation in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Support senior staff with client meetings, documentation, and communication.

Conduct research on various financial and regulatory issues.

Help with bookkeeping and reconciliation of financial records.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends.

Perform other duties as assigned by the senior team members.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be a registered student of the CA Intermediate (IPCC) course, with a genuine interest in accounting and finance.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Previous internship experience (preferred but not mandatory).
