Job Description

As an art and craft teacher at Aspire Residential School, your job responsibilities might include: Curriculum Development : Designing and developing an engaging and comprehensive art and craft curriculum that aligns with the school's educational objectives and standards. Lesson Planning : Planning and preparing lessons that cater to the diverse needs and skill levels of students, ensuring that each lesson is stimulating, interactive, and promotes creativity. Instruction and Demonstration : Delivering effective instruction and demonstrations in various art and craft techniques, mediums, and styles, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, and textiles. Skill Development : Facilitating skill development sessions to help students improve their artistic abilities, experiment with different materials, and refine their techniques. Creativity Promotion : Encouraging and nurturing creativity, imagination, and self-expression among students through open-ended projects, brainstorming sessions, and constructive feedback. Classroom Management : Managing the classroom environment to ensure a safe, organized, and conducive space for learning and creating art, while also fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Assessment and Feedback : Assessing student progress and performance through various methods such as observations, critiques, and portfolio reviews, and providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development. Collaboration : Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to integrate art and craft activities into interdisciplinary lessons and projects, fostering connections between different subject areas. Extracurricular Activities : Organizing and supervising extracurricular art and craft activities, clubs, workshops, and exhibitions to provide additional opportunities for students to explore and showcase their talents. Parent Communication : Communicating regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress, discuss concerns or achievements, and encourage parental involvement in their child's artistic development. Professional Development : Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated on current trends, techniques, and best practices in art education, attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions as necessary. Community Engagement : Engaging with the local community to showcase students' artwork, participate in art-related events, and foster partnerships with artists, galleries, and cultural organizations. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Schedule: Morning shift Experience: total work: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
