You must be able to introduce primary students to a variety of art techniques, craftwork, and visual expression aligned with the ICSE/ISC extracurricular framework. A key responsibility includes maintaining an English-speaking environment in the classroom and on the school campus. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art and craft lessons suitable for primary school students. Introduce a wide range of techniques including drawing, painting, paper craft, clay modeling, origami, and use of recyclable materials. Foster creativity, self-expression, and fine motor skill development through structured activities. Organize and prepare students’ artwork for school exhibitions, annual functions, and inter-school competitions. Guide students in creating art projects that integrate with other school subjects and themes. Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage artistic growth. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized art room; ensure student safety during activities. Collaborate with other teachers to incorporate art into the overall educational experience. Communicate with parents regarding students’ participation, progress, and achievements in art and craft. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field; formal training in art education is preferred. Experience teaching art and craft to children in a school setting, preferably under the CBSE curriculum. Proficiency in various art techniques and craft-making skills. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Fluency in English and ability to maintain an English-speaking environment during instruction.
