Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Oversee Maintenance Operations: Manage and coordinate all forklift maintenance activities across the assigned area, ensuring timely and efficient servicing. 2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians and service staff to maintain high standards of service quality and safety. 3. Customer Support & Satisfaction: Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing service issues promptly and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. 4. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and optimize forklift uptime. 5. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, guiding technicians in problem resolution. 6. Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for scheduled and emergency repairs. 7. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Preferred candidate profile Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering 4-5 years of experience in forklift service, maintenance, and repair. Prior experience in material handling equipment (MHE) or industrial equipment service is preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of forklift mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics. Proficiency in service management software* and ERP systems. Ability to analyze service reports, maintenance schedules, and spare parts management. Leadership & Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead a team of service technicians and ensure high productivity. Strong customer relationship management (CRM) skills to handle client escalations. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Willingness to *travel within the assigned region for service operations
