Job Description

The role in the Consumer Products Division Sales Department entails driving secondary sales and merchandising by cultivating enduring relationships with retailers. You will cover Superstore outlets in the designated territory, achieve monthly targets, oversee the opening of new outlets, and facilitate new product launches. Managing the performance of the superstore channel to enhance sales and revenue, ensuring the conversion of point-of-sale benefits into secondary sales through DMS execution, and providing mobile reporting on a daily basis are key responsibilities. Building and maintaining robust relationships with channel partners is crucial for success. As a Graduate with 2-3 years of sales experience in the FMCG/Pharma/OTC industry, particularly in channel management, you should possess skills such as product understanding, negotiation, local geographical knowledge, fluency in the local language, distributor management, and the ability to calculate retail and distributor schemes. Additionally, covering retail outlets, achieving monthly targets, opening new outlets, launching new products, managing distributors in the assigned area, meeting daily POB targets, executing secondary sales, and ensuring repeat orders from outlets are part of your responsibilities. Upholding merchandising and store branding standards is also essential. The role reports directly to the Area Sales Executive without any reportees, making it an individual contributor position. The key stakeholders include internal departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Sales Development, as well as external parties like retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and key accounts customers. High travel is expected in this role with locations including Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Solan, Kangra, Gurgaon, Noida, Agra, Jaipur, Haldwani, Rishikesh, and Delhi.
