Job Description

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Key Requirements:

Education:
Graduate (preferably in business, marketing, or a related field); BBA, Engineering Diploma, MBA preferred.
Experience:
3-7 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
Skills:

Strong communication and negotiation skills
Team management ability
Good understanding of territory management and distribution models
Result-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure

Languages:
Proficiency in English and local language(s)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor and manage the sales performance of team members, dealers, and distributors in the assigned area.
Regularly visit dealers , distributors, and other stakeholders to strengthen relationships and resolve issues.
Train and motivate the sales team to improve performance and productivity.
Monitor competitor activities and inform the management to develop counter-strategies.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain proper credit control.
Submit timely reports and expenses.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Ensure implementation of marketing and branding initiatives in the territory
