As an Area Sales Manager in the Sales & Business Development department would be pivotal in driving growth and expanding the market presence of the company. Here's how you can excel in this position:

Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential customers, competitors, and market trends in the electric bike industry. Use this information to develop strategic plans for sales and business development initiatives tailored to different regions within your area of responsibility.

Relationship Building and Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the electric bike industry. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the company's network and establish partnerships that drive sales growth.

Sales Target Setting and Monitoring: Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets for your area based on market potential and company objectives. Implement effective sales tracking systems to monitor performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.

Product Knowledge and Training: Develop a deep understanding of the company's electric bike products and their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Provide training and support to dealers and distributors to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively sell the company's products.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implement and utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track leads, and monitor the sales pipeline. Use CRM data to identify sales opportunities, prioritize leads, and provide personalized support to customers throughout the sales process.

Marketing and Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Leverage digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and traditional advertising methods to reach target customers effectively.

Customer Feedback and Market Insights: Gather feedback from customers, dealers, and distributors to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points. Use this feedback to inform product development efforts, improve customer service, and refine sales and marketing strategies.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in all sales and business development activities. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate sales performance, market trends, and business development activities
