Area Sales Manager- GT - Punjab

As a Sales and Distribution Manager, your role involves meeting Sales and Distribution targets by effectively implementing area sales and development plans. You will be responsible for planning and achieving distribution expansion within budget plans, as well as overseeing stocks and logistics planning for the area. Your duties will also include ensuring timely settlement of distributor claims through proper scrutiny and on-field verification, and maintaining the agreed Return on Investment (ROI) for the distributors. Key Responsibilities: - Implementing sales strategies to achieve targets by analyzing Nielson and internal data from various markets. - Developing a distribution strategy in alignment with the changing channel mix. - Tracking the availability and performance of manpower at Distribution Centers as per plan, highlighting deviations to the Regional Sales Manager. - Executing and monitoring distribution expansion by town class, type of Outlets, and category, taking corrective actions as necessary. - Implementing distributor Management Information System (MIS) packages and ensuring compliance with agreed timelines. - Planning new product launches by channel based on a thorough understanding of category and distribution objectives. - Executing merchandising strategies by channels and categories to ensure shelf share surpasses the market for Tier 1 SKUs. - Ensuring that targeted productivity norms for channels and categories are met. Qualifications Required: - Experience in managing field Sales Teams, Sales Associates, and Merchandisers. - Proficiency in promotional planning, budgeting, and trade management.
