Job Description

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Key Responsibilities

Appoint, develop, and manage distributors across
all districts
in the assigned region
Identify and onboard
direct dealers
for unbranded bulk lubricant packs
Drive sales performance by achieving
monthly and quarterly targets
for automotive lubricants
Develop new business opportunities by onboarding distributors, retailers, and dealers
Monitor and ensure
timely payment collections
while maintaining distributor ROI
Strengthen market presence through effective channel expansion and product promotion
Guide, train, and support
Territory Business Managers (TBMs)
to resolve on-ground challenges
Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide regular sales reports

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory experience
in the
lubricants industry
(automotive/industrial lubricants)
Minimum experience in
channel sales management
(distributors & retailers) and
primary sales
Strong knowledge of lubricant products, market dynamics, and trade channels
Proven expertise in
field sales, distributor appointment, channel development, and promotions
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region
