Job Description

Job Title : Area Sales Manager

Job Location : Coimbatore , Chennai , Madurai

Experience : Minimum 3 years exp in Diaper sales. Candidates from Medical Rep, Surgical Sales, Related FMCG industry

Salary : As per Company Standards

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Sales & Business Development

Achieve sales targets and revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the distributor/retailer network.

2. Distributor & Retailer Management

Appoint and manage distributors to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Monitor distributor performance and ensure stock availability.
Develop relationships with key retailers, pharmacies, and modern trade outlets.

3. Market Expansion & Brand Promotion

Plan and execute promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives.
Identify key market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Work closely with the marketing team to drive brand awareness.

4. Team Management & Training

Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales executives.
Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide coaching for improvement.
Set clear sales targets and ensure execution at the ground level.

5. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare sales reports and provide market insights to senior management.
Analyze sales performance and suggest improvements.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and inventory management.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
3+ years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in diapers or hygiene products.
Proven track record in distributor/retailer management and team leadership.
