Area Sales Manager

The Dairy Feed - Area Sales Manager position at Cargill's Dairy Feeds business in Karnataka involves developing strategies, sales teams, and processes to meet revenue targets. Additionally, you will make personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will lead and direct the sales personnel in the assigned area, establish and control sales goals, evaluate the profit and loss of feeds and brands, and supervise sales performance groups. Building strong customer relationships to drive future sales and repeat business will also be crucial. Minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in any discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Preferred qualifications include 8-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Dairy/Cattle Feed/Agri input Sales. Fluency in Kannada and English, excellent connections with farmers in Karnataka, and a track record of business growth, geographic expansion, and profitability in the assigned territory are desired. Experience in managing a direct on-roll team of at least 4 employees and handling distributor/dealer sales in rural areas is also preferred.
