Job Description

Qualifications/Requirements:

As an Area Sales Manager (ASM), you will be responsible for liaison with direct and indirect clients, installers, etc. Manage sales of the company's products and services in a geographic area within their region or country. You will be creative in providing local customers with the tools to favorably influence their sales results. You will contribute to the establishment of the Sales plan, encourage its results- oriented implementation and provide thorough evaluation and efficient guidance. Intensive client contact & traveling will be required. The ASM is stimulated by new challenges, full of initiative, pro-active and you are always ready to grasp new opportunities. The incumbent is to report to the Regional Manager or Country Manager.

Key responsibilities

:1. Manages an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives:- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.- Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products.- Provides quarterly results assessments of sales productivity.- Executes professional account management activities.- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and a stable sales process2. Executes and manages effective sales process which include the following issues:- New account sales.- Sales of emerging products and wall-to-wall sales. Improved seminar presentations.- Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns. Proper use and level of sales support.- Management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level.- Business/financial issues on contracts.

EducationExperience - Skills

Masters/Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.List years of experience:- Usually requires 7-10 years of capital sales experience.Specific skill set:- Excellent knowledge of company's propositions, pricing practices, and selling skills.- Effective management skills- Excellent time management, communications, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills.- Professional appearance and presentation required.- Fluent in English (Verbal and written) and Hindi (Verbal)- Good financial and P&L understanding.- Familiarity with credit control & sales forecasting/planning;

Physical requirements
