Role: Area Sales manager- B2B Sales

Location: Thane, Mumbai

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead B2B/Agency Sales for health insurance vertical. This role requires strong corporate acquisition skills, deep market understanding, and the ability to manage and motivate a sales team to deliver consistent business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute B2B/agency sales strategies to acquire new corporate clients and drive business volume.
Expand the partner network by onboarding high-potential agencies, brokers, and corporate associates.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate decision-makers, partners, and distribution stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to refine sales plans.
Ensure seamless coordination for proposals, quotations, negotiations, and closures.
Drive process discipline, performance tracking, and reporting for team productivity.
Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and service teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4-8 years of experience in B2B or corporate sales; experience in insurance distribution preferred.
Proven team handling experience with strong leadership and people management capability.
Strong network in corporate/business segments and understanding of B2B sales cycles.
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
