Job Title: Area Sales Executive – Wholesale (Mumbai)

Location: Thakur Village, Kandivali East, Mumbai (Field + Office)

About Dumbledo:

Dumbledo is an emerging baby essentials and fashion brand inspired by comfort, care, and sustainability. Backed by the Maa2Mom community and trusted by parents, we are expanding our reach through retail and wholesale partnerships.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a driven and responsible Area Sales Executive to build and grow our wholesale and retail presence across Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new retailers, distributors, and baby product stores; managing relationships; ensuring timely orders; and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify, visit, and onboard new retail and wholesale partners across Mumbai and nearby areas.
  • Generate B2B leads through direct visits, references, and local market mapping.
  • Promote Dumbledo’s product range (baby diapers, nappies and clothing) to potential retailers/distributors.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the management.

Account Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Collect orders, coordinate dispatch with the warehouse, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Manage outstanding payments and ensure collections within timelines.

Market Intelligence:

  • Track competitors’ products, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Gather feedback from retailers and report trends and opportunities to management.
  • Recommend promotional activities or product bundles to drive sales.

Coordination & Reporting:

  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams for order fulfillment.
  • Maintain visit records, order logs, and sales reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Update the management on sales progress and challenges on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Education: 12th Pass or Graduate (preferred).
  • Experience: 1–3 years in field sales, preferably in baby products like nappies, clothing or in garments, FMCG, consumer goods.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and convincing ability.
  • Knowledge of Mumbai markets and local retailers/distributors.
  • Basic computer and smartphone usage (WhatsApp, Excel, Google Maps).
  • Must be self-driven, disciplined, and customer-friendly.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai and nearby areas.
