Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Procurement Officer located in Hamirpur. The Area Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing procurement activities, creating and processing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and analyzing procurement needs. Daily tasks include coordinating with suppliers, maintaining procurement records, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and supporting financial literacy and inclusion efforts among women farmers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, and managing Purchase Orders
• Strong skills in Contract Negotiation
• Excellent Analytical Skills to assess procurement needs and supplier performance
• Ability to work independently on-site and effectively coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the agriculture sector is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
