Job Description

Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager in the Independent Hotels team, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing connections with independent hotels located throughout India. Your key focus will be on overseeing comprehensive key account management from start to finish, ensuring sustainable performance of the region. This role will require you to travel to various hotels within the portfolio, providing expert guidance, metrics analysis, and recommendations based on industry best practices to our hotel partners. Key Responsibilities: - Relationship and Account Management: - Connect and engage with independent hotels. - Manage accounts end-to-end and drive sustainable performance of the region. - Source and onboard new hotels. - Travel to different hotels in the portfolio to provide expertise, metrics analysis, and recommendations. - Portfolio Management and Driving Growth: - Grow net revenue in the market by developing business plans to achieve revenue goals. - Ensure inventory levels exceed demand throughout the market. - Maintain rate competitiveness across multiple available platforms. - Data Analysis and Reporting: - Establish and maintain supplier relationships. - Train partner hotels on our extranet and wholesale business. - Review monthly production reports and provide feedback to top-producing hotels. - Plan and execute market site visits. - Build MIS & market intelligence reports. - Prepare geography-wise and service-wise sales plans and achieve them. - Share insights on the market and industry with clients and internal stakeholders. - Negotiating: - Network, initiate deals, negotiate, and close deals with clients. - Strategize to market the hotel effectively, helping partners serve their customers" needs and grow their businesses. Qualification Required: - Masters degree from a reputed institute. - 4-6 years of experience in sales, Travel Trade, Key Account Management, Contracting, or B2B Sales. - Experience in handling multiple accounts as a partner is preferred. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.,
