Area Debt Manager-Recoveries- Personal Loan

Role Overview: As an Area Collection Manager-Consumer Loans and Cross Sell, your primary responsibility is to manage a team and coordinate the operational recovery activities for an area credit portfolio in your assigned territory. You will need to ensure that front delinquencies are minimized by administering corporate policies and procedures. Working closely with the legal team, you will provide sound legal advice on managing delinquencies that the company faces. Your role involves end-to-end collection responsibility for the collections of the area allocated, contributing to the larger organizational objectives of the bank. It is critical to plan, organize, direct, and oversee the activities of the Recoveries department while managing the associated agencies in your assigned area. Your efficiency and optimization in retrieving EMIs from customers must adhere to the company's guidelines, contributing to the bank's organizational objectives and impacting financial budget planning directly. Key Responsibilities: - Handle an area for collections of specific products - Ensure collection efficiency and cost of collections for the assigned area - Track and control delinquency of the area Bucket-wise & DPD wise, focusing on non-starters - Review account allocations and collections targets by bucket to agencies/in-house team - Follow up regularly with default customers through a dedicated team - Ensure collection agencies and executives adhere to legal guidelines provided by the law - Manage productivity by setting parameters for In-house/Agencies/collection executives, monitor performance, and review daily - Ensure adequate Feet on Street availability area-wise/bucket-wise/segment-wise - Conduct detailed background and reference checks of agencies/DCTs being appointed and evaluate them constantly - Collaborate with the legal team to ensure legal action is taken on specified cases - Build relationships with key clients for timely collections - Determine suitable tactics or strategies for timely collections - Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in your reporting structure Qualification Required: - Graduation in any field - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Collections,
