Job Description

Roles and Responsibility:-

Credit Assessment & Underwriting
Evaluate and approve credit proposals for home loans.
Analyze financial statements, bank records, and other relevant documents to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers.
Conduct Personal Discussions (PD) to verify information and assess the borrower's ability to repay.
Portfolio Management
Monitor the performance of the credit portfolio, ensuring that delinquencies and Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) are within acceptable limits.
Implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and optimize recovery rates.
Regularly review and update credit policies based on portfolio performance and market dynamics.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a team of credit officers, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure that the team adheres to credit policies and maintains high standards of credit assessment.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to credit operations.
Collaborate with risk management teams to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with sales, collections, and operations teams to streamline credit processes and enhance customer experience.
Provide feedback to product and policy teams to refine credit offerings and processes.
