Area Collections Manager- Chennai

As a seasoned professional in the field of Collections, your primary responsibility will be to lead the team proactively by personally visiting critical and high-value customers to ensure timely resolution and collections. You will be entrusted with the task of strategizing and implementing effective plans to achieve the set goals for the assigned region. Your role will also involve liaising with external vendors, including Legal, to enhance productivity and efficiency within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Visit critical cases for resolution and collection, demonstrating a hands-on approach. - Lead the team by setting an example through personal visits to critical and high-value customers. - Develop strategic plans and oversee their implementation to achieve the defined goals for the region/state. - Ensure strict adherence to policy and regulatory frameworks by the team members. - Collaborate with external vendors, particularly Legal partners, to drive productivity and efficiency. - Provide timely feedback and updates on concerns that could potentially impact the organization financially or regulatory-wise. Requirements: - A minimum of 8 years of experience in Collections, with at least 2 years in a similar leadership role. - Profound knowledge of both Secured and Unsecured business is essential. - Legal acumen would be considered an added advantage. - Strong human, analytical, and conceptual skills are prerequisites for this role. - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, customers, and external stakeholders.
