Area Business Manager-Portfolio-AGRI-FIN-PROJECTS (AF)-Marketing Branches Operations

As a Portfolio Manager for Agri SME customers, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers in the agricultural sector. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Demonstrating acceptable knowledge of the respective geography and the ability to recruit team members efficiently. - Understanding customers" business models, appraising financials, and identifying suitable new-to-bank (NTB) business opportunities for working capital (fund-based/non-fund-based) and term loan facilities in Agri food processing and MSME industries. - Cross-selling liability and other third-party products to newly onboarded customers. - Working closely with Credit & Risk function, legal & technical team, RCAD & GR/GTS team for smooth customer onboarding and effective risk management. - Collaborating with internal bank channels and developing open market sourcing through DMAs, CAs, and financial consultants. - Developing a network and channel in various business segments through associations and industry bodies, warehouse managers, etc. - Improving efficiency by monitoring and suggesting improvements in processes based on ground reality and market trends. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, the job requirements include: - Holding a CA/PG Diploma/PG in Banking & Finance/Commerce or equivalent qualification. - Prior team handling experience is required. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Proficiency in relationship management. - Demonstrating leadership skills. - Local market knowledge would be an added advantage. - Having a minimum of 5 years of experience in SME funding work.
