Architect Designer

As an Architect Engineer with a focus on civil engineering aspects, you will play a crucial role in designing and coordinating civil engineering elements of architectural projects using AutoCAD software. Your strong understanding of civil engineering principles and proficiency in AutoCAD will ensure the successful delivery of projects within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with architects, designers, and stakeholders to integrate civil engineering requirements into architectural designs. - Utilize AutoCAD for creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for civil engineering elements like site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and drainage systems. - Conduct site visits and surveys to assess site conditions, topography, and existing infrastructure for design development. - Coordinate with structural engineers and consultants to ensure alignment between architectural and civil engineering designs. - Prepare construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and quantity take-offs, adhering to project schedules and budgets. - Review engineering calculations, reports, and test results to verify design feasibility and compliance with regulatory standards. - Participate in project meetings, offering technical expertise and addressing design-related issues. - Stay updated on industry trends, civil engineering technology advancements, and building codes and regulations. - Provide support during the construction phase, responding to RFIs and assisting with construction administration tasks. - Ensure civil engineering designs prioritize safety, sustainability, and environmental considerations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. - Proven experience as an Architect Engineer focusing on civil engineering, preferably in the construction industry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D modeling with attention to detail. - Solid understanding of civil engineering principles including site development, grading, drainage, and utility design. - Familiarity with software tools like Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit for civil engineering design and analysis. - Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes related to civil engineering. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolve design challenges. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and priorities. - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in civil engineering and architecture.
