AR Caller (Accounts Receivable – Medical Billing Process)*

Job Summary:

As an AR Caller, you will be part of the healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) process. Your main responsibility will be to contact **insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to follow up on pending or denied medical claims, resolve payment issues, and ensure that hospitals and clinics receive timely reimbursements for the services they provide.

Key Responsibilities:

* Follow-up on Claims: Call insurance companies to check the status of submitted medical claims and ensure they are processed on time.

* Resolve Denials & Rejections: Identify reasons for denied or delayed claims, take corrective actions, and re-submit them for payment.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate notes of all calls, emails, and updates in the system for every claim handled.

* Payment Analysis: Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or Remittance Advices to understand payments, adjustments, or denials.

* Communication: Coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives to clarify discrepancies or missing information.

* Team Coordination: Work closely with the internal billing and coding team to ensure all documentation and coding errors are corrected promptly.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge: Basic understanding of RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) and Denial Management is an added advantage.

2. Communication Skills: Strong English communication (verbal & written) – ability to handle calls confidently and clearly.

3. Analytical Skills: Should be able to understand claim issues, identify problems, and suggest logical solutions.

4. Work Environment: Comfortable working in a voice process and open to rotational night shifts (as per US healthcare process timing).

5. Education: Undergraduate or Graduate (any stream).

6. Experience:

* Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of experience in Non-BPO / Domestic / International BPO are welcome to apply.

* Prior exposure to healthcare or customer service voice processes will be a plus.
