AR Accountant

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing the accounts receivable process to ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer invoices, collections, and reconciliations. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining accounts receivable processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy - Monitoring and analyzing accounts receivable metrics to identify areas for improvement - Ensuring compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards, and regulatory requirements In addition, you will be responsible for: - Ensuring timely and accurate creation and issuance of customer invoices - Coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve any invoicing issues or discrepancies - Managing the collections process and following up on outstanding customer balances - Evaluating and monitoring customer creditworthiness and collaborating with sales and finance teams to establish credit limits - Performing regular reconciliations of customer accounts and preparing balance sheet schedules on a monthly basis - Monitoring accounts receivable metrics and preparing various reports for analysis Moreover, you will be involved in: - Implementing and enforcing credit control policies and procedures - Collaborating with GL team and Controllers for accurate and timely financial reporting - Supporting the Controller/FOM on P&L variance and balance sheet analysis Furthermore, you will be expected to follow key criteria and standards for Revenue Recognition of international transactions as part of the end-to-end revenue assurance process.
