Applications and Solutions Engineer

Role Overview: As an Applications and Solutions Engineer for BESS (C&I) Business at Neo Metaliks, your role will involve providing the techno-commercial support for C&I BESS site discovery, sizing, solution architecture, proposals, and early-stage commissioning. You will work closely with the Director - BESS and play a crucial role in client meetings during the initial phase. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct audits, load profiling, and align use-cases for C&I BESS solutions (e.g., peak shaving, solar + storage). - Design solution architecture by selecting chemistry, PCS topology, EMS/controls, and drafting SLDs, BoMs, layouts. - Develop LCOS/TCO models, customer ROI/IRR analysis, and define dispatch strategy within warranty limits. - Prepare client proposals with performance guarantees, evaluate vendor/OEM quotes, and ensure compliance with standards. - Support commissioning activities, installation checks, functional tests, EMS configuration, and client training. - Ensure quality and safety standards are met by embedding detection/suppression, clearances, earthing, and protection coordination. - Provide internal support by maintaining calculators/templates, coaching BD on technical aspects, and sharing execution learnings.
