Application Support - Java skills - Lead

The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must possess a strong hands-on experience in developing and supporting business applications. Additionally, you should have prior experience in managing a team of 10+ members and taking ownership of all L2 tickets/services. It is important to manage the roster for the team and ensure minimum required availability. Furthermore, the candidate should have a background in application support activities such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Fulfillment, Application Performance Monitoring, Batch Job Monitoring, and Root Cause Analysis. Adhering to customers" IT support processes, security policy, and SLA is crucial. The responsibilities also include resolving defect fixes, working on minor enhancements/change requests, and collaborating with application end users and development teams to provide end-to-end resolution for support issues. Moreover, coordination and support for Release Management & Deployments are part of the role. The candidate should be able to prepare application know-how documentation whenever applicable and have the ability to understand functional and non-functional requirements and map them to design elements. Providing guidance to the team and having experience working in an Agile environment are also essential skills for this position.,
