Application Support Engineer "SaaS / Azure"

Application Support Engineer

In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and innovating within our cloud-based SaaS product, hosted 100% on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of cloud environments on Microsoft Azure
• Improve monitoring, stability, and reliability of the platform
• Own incident response end to end
• Identify and implement automation opportunities
• Manage automated and manual deployments
• Maintain, upgrade, harden, and patch VMs
• Document processes and propose new procedures to improve operations
• Handle 2nd and 3rd level service requests
• Collaborate closely within a highly technical, multi-skilled team

Technical Competencies

• Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server and PowerShell
• Solid experience in infrastructure or SaaS architecture
• Trained, certified, or experienced in Microsoft Azure
• Good understanding of Windows, virtualization, and networks
• Strong troubleshooting skills under SLA constraints
• A mindset focused on automation and integration

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, networking, computer science, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in operations, infrastructure, or a similar role

Nice to Haves

• Experience in a SaaS product company
• Familiarity with ISMS (ISO27001/GDPR)
• ITIL Certification
