Application Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Support Engineer (L2) to join our IT operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing intermediate-level technical support for enterprise applications, resolving complex incidents, ensuring application stability, and working closely with cross-functional teams, including L1 Support, Development, and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve escalated technical issues related to application functionality, performance, and availability.

• Perform root cause analysis and propose permanent fixes to recurring problems.

• Monitor application health, performance, and logs using monitoring tools.

• Execute application deployment, configuration, and upgrades in production and non-production environments.

• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve application bugs and performance bottlenecks.

• Perform data analysis, write SQL queries, and troubleshoot data-related issues.

• Create and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as needed.

• Ensure SLAs are met for incident and request resolution.

• Work on service requests, access management, configuration changes, and application-related user issues.
