Application Support Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for a highly skilled Application Support Engineer with over 7 years of experience to join our Pune development center. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing SaaS applications on AWS, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for automation and operational excellence in a fast-paced, global environment.

What You'll Do:

• Implement and configure application upgrades and custom changes
• Set up new environments and deploy solutions
• Build proactive monitoring and alerting services
• Automate operations using scripting tools
• Troubleshoot AWS and application-level issues
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to meet customer needs
• Handle high-severity incidents across multiple AWS services
• Provide on-call support and work in a 24x7 shift environment
• Create deployment scripts and rollback plans
• Optimize application and server performance

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 7+ years of experience in Application Support and Operations
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
• Experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of application servers and databases
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Exposure to Agile development and financial domain is a plus
