Must have skills : Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Good to have skills : Microsoft Windows Desktop Management Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Experience:8+ yearsJob Summary:We are seeking a Senior EUC (End User Computing) Engineer with over 8 years of experience in SCCM/MECM, Windows desktop patching, and Windows desktop administration. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in managing end-user environments, along with leadership capabilities to manage and mentor a team of 4-5 engineers. This role involves leading day-to-day operational activities, overseeing patch management and software distribution, and driving continuous improvements to ensure optimal performance and security across the desktop environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of 4-5 EUC engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.Design, implement, and maintain SCCM/MECM infrastructure to support software deployment, patch management, and desktop administration.Oversee and manage Windows desktop patching cycles to ensure compliance with security standards and minimize vulnerabilities.Manage and administer Windows desktop environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and end-user satisfaction.Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues related to desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support new technology solutions and system enhancements.Drive process improvements for desktop management, patching, and software distribution.Ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices, including security and compliance protocols.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Act as a technical point of escalation for EUC-related issues and guide junior team members in troubleshooting and problem-solving.Conduct training sessions for team members on new tools, processes, and industry best practices.Collaborate with IT leadership to plan and implement strategic initiatives related to EUC, such as automation and virtualization.Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to system performance, patch compliance, and issue resolution.Required Skills & Qualifications:8+ years of experience in SCCM/MECM administration and Windows desktop management.Strong knowledge of desktop patching, software distribution, and system updates in enterprise environments.Proven experience leading or managing a small technical team.In-depth knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) administration and troubleshooting.Experience with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) for automation of administrative tasks.Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policies, and security configurations for desktops and laptops.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing system and user issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams, clients, and stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
