The Role:

Application Lead- SAP for Retail

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Application Development: Direct and manage SAP Retail application lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Article Master Data Management: Create, configure, and maintain article master data in line with retail business needs.
• Merchandise Hierarchy Oversight: Define merchandise categories and hierarchies to support operational and analytical functions.
• Manage Article Types & Variants: Handle configuration for different article types—single articles, variants, sales sets, and display articles.
• Support SAP MDG: Ensure effective Master Data Governance with validations, workflows, and approvals.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform testing and validation of article master configurations, system enhancements, and integrations.

Skills Required

• Expertise in

  SAP for Retail

  – particularly Article Master Data and SAP S/4 HANA Retail.
• Experience managing

  SAP MDG

  processes and workflows.
• Hands-on skills in

  SAP configuration

  , testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SAP integration across modules and external systems.
• Understanding of related SAP components like MM, SD, and Logistics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  15 years of full-time education (bachelor’s degree minimum).

• Experience:

  Minimum

  7.5 years

  of relevant SAP experience required.
