Job Description

The job involves providing computer simulationbased process and gating optimization solutions to the metal casting industry. The candidate should have strong knowledge and hands-on understanding of simulation-based services and solutions for metal casting and foundry industries, including sand casting, shell molding, investment casting, HPDC, LPDC, and GDC, and should be capable of applying this expertise to optimize processes, reduce defects, and improve casting yield.
Candidate should have shop floor experience in any type of casting company in design/ manufacturing/ process/ quality.
candidates will be provided training to run casting simulation jobs. Candidates are expected to have ability to learn simulation software quickly and efficiently.
Job involves visits to foundries across India. candidate should be able to travel and meet customer to understand the customer queries/pain points.
Candidate should have abilities to read drawings, and create 2D and 3D CAD models
Exposure to casting simulation will be an added advantage. For candidates who have exposure to casting process, simulation-based training will be provided at ProSIM
Candidate should have good communication skills (both spoken and written).

Roles and Responsibilities

Conversion 2D drawing to 3D CAD modelling
Sound knowledge in surface modeling and Conversion of surface model to solid part.
Understanding casting process and execution of casting project simulation. Prepare detailed analysis report and animations.
Visit to foundries across India and presenting customize presentation to clients.
