Structural Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities (Summary): Act as Structural Engineering SME, offering technical leadership and advanced analysis for complex projects. Lead structural design of large modules (>1500 tons) including lifting, transport, and installation. Approve dynamic, transportation, and lifting analyses for safety and compliance. Mentor engineers, guide early 3D modeling, and ensure structural integrity. Perform offshore structural design and fatigue analysis using tools like SACS/STAAD Offshore. Develop/review sea fastening, rigging schemes, and SPMT arrangements. Collaborate across engineering disciplines and regions. Manage structural scope for large-scale projects from concept to fabrication. Support proposal engineering and construction documentation. Resolve fabrication/production issues through expert structural input. Track project progress, manage resources, and deliver timely outputs. Required Skills & Competencies (Summary): Technical: Expert in structural analysis tools (SACS, STAAD), offshore design, fatigue, and modular transport. Leadership: Experienced in leading teams, mentoring, and managing complex projects. Collaboration: Strong communicator with proven coordination and client-facing skills
