Understand technical requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications. Implement code changes as per the requirement and ensure correct execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Provide development support during testing, production deployment, and post-production support. Ensure error-free coding and delivery for the testing phase. Maintain effective communication with business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders. Guide the project team daily and provide regular status updates to the client. Manage application maintenance with precise and clear communication to end users. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Experience Level 4 to 6 years of IT experience as a software developer, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience in COBOL mainframes. Strong understanding of the SDLC lifecycle. Experience in application maintenance for any domain. Hands-on experience with Ingenium . Sound knowledge of MF Cobol , including coding, debugging, and deployment across different environments. Familiarity with quality processes. Adequate understanding of insurance domain concept Preferred technical and professional experience Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to ensure stakeholder and client satisfaction. Exposure to Web Services and PX. Understanding of project management tools like MS Project, Jira, Trello , or similar. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
