Within IBM Consulting, Asset Engineering Services is a group who build software products and repeatable solutions to accompany and support multiple consulting and services engagements across different clients.Asset Engineering is looking for a motivated and seasoned Python Develper to join our global team to deliver outstanding results for both internal/external clients

Your Role And Responsibilities

Design and develop AI agentic applications using Python programming languages
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Integrate AI models with Salesforce, Watsonx Assistant, Watsonx Orchestrate, Slack and other web applications using RESTful APIs and web frameworks such as Spring Boot or Flask/FastAPI.
Develop and maintain databases using relational databases PostgreSQL and VectorDB.
Ensure high-quality software development by following best practices, testing, and validation

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Programming Skills

Required technical and professional expertise

Proficiency in Python programming languages
Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with asynchronous workloads

Full Stack Development Experience

Experience with building RESTful APIs and web services using Python
Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with DevOps tools including GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Experience with Watsonx.ai, Watsonx Orchestrate, Watsonx Assisant
Experience with IBM Cloud, Cirrus (IBM CIO Private Cloud)
